Just before Christmas I sneaked in the last release for the year, this release saw a fix to the problem of only looking at the first 2 input cards. This one was a tricky one to fix and required pretty much a complete rewrite of the code so there might be a few niggly bugs popping up again, let me know on the forum and I'll fix them up. I also have a few buttons the options greyed out getting ready for future releases like the Sky Wizard and XMLTVNZ option.
I dont have Sky so writing the Sky Wizard is a little tricky for me, if anyone wants to give it a go I have built the GUI (Glade) and basic code (Python) just ask on the forum and I'll send it to you for you to have a hack at. Basicly its a step by step walkthough on getting your Sky IR working and channels setup.
This release of MythKiwi Control Panel will do the following,
- Detect and configure up to 3 input cards (Analogue or Satellite)
- Setup either Freeview or Analogue channels(Only analogue for Auck, Ham, Well, CHCH -if you want your region added add your frequencies to the wiki)
- Setup your Electrionic ProgramGuide to automatically run and collect data
- EPG data can beshared over different sources. Sat cards can share over air EPG data with Analogue channels and you can use downloaded data for sat cards
